I began my study of French as a child in a French immersion pre-kindergarten through 4th grade school in Phoenix, Arizona. After learning the basics of Latin in middle school, I returned to learning French for all four years of high school. Since arriving at Wesleyan, I have taken two French classes, the first to solidify my grammatical and writing skills and the second to read and discuss French feminist writings. I will be spending my first semester of junior year abroad in Paris, France, through the Wesleyan Vassar Paris program.
